Hello everyone. This is my first blog post for CSC290, a course that is for communication and oral skill. For this blog, I am going to introduce myself, the reason why I picked computer science, and my goal in this course. I will be posting a blog every week as an assignment for this course.

Introduction
So anyway, my name is Jack. I came from Hong Kong 8 years ago as an immigrant. I have been in Canada since middle school. I am currently in the second year at the University of Toronto, Mississauga Campus. I like to play games, watch anime, and drawing.

Why Computer Science?
The first time I ever touch the subject computer science was at highschool. As from the name it describes, I was intrigued that this could relate to something I have been in love with, gaming. Ever since I was a child, I have been playing games most of the time, either to spend time have fun or destress from school. I am planning to work on something that relates to gaming in anything. Computer Science degree is a stepping stone to my dream, which is why I am here.

My Goal in CSC290
As I mentioned above, I am planning to be a gaming programmer. To do that, I need my writing skill and oral skill to be at least an average level. I am hoping to get around B grade in this course. I was never good at English, so I want to get a little bit after completing this course while learning how to communicate like a computer scientist.
